A team of young historians under the leadership of Prof Dr Oliver Auge and on behalf of the Lutheran parish of Bad Bramstedt wrote this study about the history of the church and its parish, based on in-depth archival research. They bring to life the long and fascinating history of the St. Mary Magdalene’s Church and emphasise the the important role it played for the development of the town and it’s inhabitants until the present day.

Oliver Auge studied History and Latin Philology at the University of Tübingen. He received his PhD in 2001. Since 2009 he is Professor in Kiel.
